Getting ready to make some chicken soup for Pesach
One of the key aspects of a great seder is great chicken soup.
Boil a chicken in a pot with garlic, celery, carrots, onions, love and spices.
Let is sit over night. Trim off the fat along the top.
Take out all the stuff and cook it again with more celery, carrots, onions, etc.
Now make some matzah balls and kreplach.
The real problem is that as hard as I try, it’ll never be as good as my bubbies!
Chicken soup has been called a lot of things, but for me - its religion, its culture, its the way the seder starts.

I am not Jewish, but that soup looks delicious. I wish I knew someone who celebrated Seder. Do you think they would allow a non jew to celebrate it with them? I have always been very intrigued by the Jewish traditions.

Is that chicken covered in some sort of batter? I had no idea there was an entire “Jewish cuisine” out there. (Well besides Matzo’s!)
That is a whole lot of work for chicken soup. I think I’d just hire my mom to do it.
I too am not Jewish, but that soup looks delicious.
