Tee Hee Hee - I love see Apple fangrrls getting their panties all in a ruffle when they try and justify why they pay almost 50% more for Macs. Obviously the Mac OS is better than Windows. Obviously a BMW is better than a Ford. Obviously the stuff at Williams-Sonoma is better than Wal-Mart. DUH! But a Mac IS more expensive! DUH! You want quality - you pay - that’s how it goes in this life!

Partying as a marketing strategy - TOTALLY! Except what this guy is missing is that all these party spsonsors need to get their message out and demo their products. These Web 2.0 parties SUCK at that. Back in the day I’d personally grab the hand of people as they entered the room and make SURE they saw our demo - if I was paying for the party.
