Citizen Dashboard proposal

As a followup to my ideas about the possibilities of Dashboard Outlines being used to unite our distributed future, I’m going one step further with a proposal to Cuyahoga County for them to pay for a Citizen Dashboard project.

This slideshow goes over the basics of the idea, which would be submitted via an org called REALNEO. Thanks to Norm Roulet for getting me involved in this.

This is part tech development (and customization of PeopleAggregator), part system integration, part community involvement and training centers and part jobs creation through:

- local support and web/multimedia bureaus

- content projects

- build knowledge bases

- putting on live events

As some of you may know - I have spent years pushing the notion of ‘digital cities’, government involvement in providing software infrastructure and designing ‘family oriented activities’ (all of which are encompassed in this Citizen Dashboard design and architecture.)

First for Odaiba (in Tokyo bay - with Dentsu - ‘93-’94)

Then MediaBar - ‘96-’97

Then Trieste, digitale Citta - ‘98

Mamma Mia - I’ve been waiting  along time to do this!
