Persistent content is quickly becoming a cornerstone of our open web future. It’s the #2 tenet of my treatise.
iTunes pass - now the packaging commences
Apple’s shift to a non-exclusive with AT&T and a deal with Verizon is brilliantly timed! Now that Sprnt and Verizon are duking it out for similar product offerings to compete with iPhones - what better way to fuck them BOTH than to break out of the AT&T ghetto? Man - I love watching Apple fuck others. Look at how they’ve treated the ENTIRE Mac community by telling MacWorld to fuck off. “Who cares about our customers, developers and partners? We can do this - alone!” Now tell me Apple fanboys, who does it feel to have you penises locked tightly into that Apple vice?
Now watch for innovative features and functionality coming out of Facebook Ads.
Looks like Blogger is still owned by Google. Its amazing how much of an island they are.
Looks like Mahalo is about to tube.
COMCAST on-demand translates - anywhere. This is one company that is executing well. Many of their policies suck - and we’ll have to see how it plays out. But their on-demand stuff is by FAR the best out there!
Awwww - all those poor YouTube copycats! Whoever thought they’d make it? VCs?
Congrats to John Linwood on your new job at the Beeb
Red Hat seems to think that perhaps involving ‘community’ is a good thing.

Eminem tries to set a precedent
To me - Ash Patel represents all that is wrong at Yahoo. IMHO
Media 2.0 best practices. My only question is: “what are the governance policies for establishing the best practices for best practices?” Afterall - the governance policies for dataPortability.org - really worked out well. After almost 18 months in existence - can you tell me ONE THING Dataportability.org - has done?
