Over and over again we’re seeing evidence of a Microsoft that is changing. Pushed into the corner by Google, they know actually have to reach out, be transparent and do the right thing.  Which they’re doing.

Joseph Smarr and John McCrea made some interesting results today at the OpenID UX thingie about their experimental hubrid demo they did with Google.  I’ll do a separate post on this later.  Lots of people are anticipatory of this event and hopeful that we’re heading to new levels of openness.

Craig Newmark has had some luck building his community, but he also dates back to old school Internet. He misses many key issues in this interview on “How to build Community”
