building the open web one bit at a time

pre X-mas blogging ‘08

Time to dress up our tree.  Oh did I tell you that last night there were 100’s of tress and pionsettias sitting there looking for a family to take them home?

Trees were knocked off 50% - great time to actually spend money - cause clearly lots of folks - ain’t.

Lets start off this post with highlighting episode #22 of theSocialWeb.tv. What’s significant about this episode is that its full of announcements, predictions, wins, politics, geeky stuff and they barely can cover everything in :22 minutes.  If there’s one thing that symbolizes the progress we’ve made in the past year - it’s my homeboys show - and how on top of things they are. TheSocialWeb.tv is a one-stop source for all things open.  Watch it! I can’t wait for the footage from the Open Stack scene at Digg last week.

I agree with John - JanRain’s RPX service is a perfect service for right now. I’m gonna use it for this blog.

This is how it’s supposed to work.  Dare posts a job listing, he gets what he’s looking for.  Just cut-out all the bullshit in the middle.

Congrats to SixApart on Motion

Chris Messina and the DiSO project will be focusing on Activity streams. I’d like to help out on friending, shared social graphs and dashboards.
