How to build the Open Mesh book available on Blurb

OK without any further ado - I am proud to present the first dead tree version of my treatise “How to build the Open Mesh”.

Think Computer Lib meets a pep rally in the valley of optimism and ideals.

The constituents for this book are practitioners, who are building systems and marketeers who have to explain it.

Here are a few of my favorite lines from the book…….

The open mesh is the on-line world of interconnected dynamic data sources (such as social media services or ongoing conversations) with static published content or media endpoints (such as a blog or media uploads) intertwined between BigCo platforms and small independent applications and services.

and then there’s

When you see something that’s common, that’s what should be a standard

and of course there’s also:

Open is the new Black

and this:

Act pragmatic, but dream like a visionary

It’s available on Blurb for €59 euros.

We’ll have a wiki for every section up at: http://BuildtheOpenMesh.com - but that’s not there - yet.

I got in some last minute photos from the Portable Contacts hackathon at SixApart.

The first 15 pages are previewed - here’s what two of them look like.
