Pub hopping from Bloomsbury to Covent Garden

Last night I was with a friend and we pub hopped our way down to Covent Garden, stopping off in about 12-15 pubs along the way.

What were we doing?

Watching the Match of a Generation.

This thing went on forever.  We stopped to meet up with Adriana Lukas, met her friend Alex, then went on some more, stopped some more and the dam thing kept going on.

Finally we stopped and said “OK - we won’t leave until this is over” - then an hour later we left and kept going.

What a match!

What an experience.

Tennis is pretty cool when it’s played atthat level.
