A few of the leading ‘identity/open/standards/open/portable‘ leaders of this biz launched a new IPTV show yesterday called ‘theSocialWeb.tv’.
In the premier episode they explain why they’re doing the show and bring us up to speed on the current crisis du jour “will Facebook allow their dynamic privacy controls to mesh in with the rest of us?”.  [...]

When I was in NYC this week, I gave a presentation outlining specifics as to how to build an open mesh platform that would interoperate with other platforms.
To do that, I filled in the blanks as to what a ’structured content server’ would look like and some other routing ‘glue services‘ which (when supported) would [...]

And somebody does it - eventually.  That is so [...]

What is weirdest - is that he really looks like me.
He’s a graduate of the JCHS - [...]

Kickapps and Clearsring sitting in a tree, k-i-ss-ing.  From the Mashable coverage:
What’s happening is a combination of widgets and social networks, which pushes widgets as a fully integrated advertising solution, as well as a channel for content distribution. Such a piecemeal approach has been in development for some time, especially as experimentation with widgets and [...]

MobileMe = Live Mesh (or is Microsoft’s desktop server approach more powerful?)
Its great to read Josh Bernoff of Forrester expose the Emperor’s new clothing in terms of Ning and all these supposed Web 2.0 plays. The only money being generated is directly from enterprise customers. That’s why most of the white labeled social [...]
