So it seems like a lot of people and organizations are quitting Dataportability.org. I wonder why? Let see is any of the scandal rags and so-called blogging leaders pick up on this. This isn’t meant to besmirch on any of the fine people involved with DP.org - just the so-called leader. He’s using the org to promote himself and his so-called standard. That’s hurting us all.
It’s great to see people grokking the importance of Facebook pages and how ethereal and temporary a social network is. ASo Verizon wants to change their mind and “move” their social network to Facebook and the humans follow. Right? Uh - I don’t think so. But Josh Cantone does grok that there’s a fine line between being a stand alone social network and a loosely federated alliance of 1,000’s of networks. That’s why it’s a GOOD thing that Facebook got rid of their ‘networks’ feature - they way it stood. Now lets see if they create REAL networks - like Josh assumes is happening with Verizon. This is what MTVN groks - BTW - with their Flux meta-network.
A bunch of people are making LOTS of money off of Oil - nowadays. Exactly what Bush promised them.

It’s official - Bush and Cheney lied to Congress about Iraq - so they could start a war. I wonder why?
