I was on this Gillmor Gang show - when we talked to the founders of FriendFeed. I asked for a world where redundancy can relieve any one vendor’s responsibility to handle everything themselves - eg. no more Twitters. My gut tells me that those guys understand what I was asking for. Asking them to be Twitter clone is the wrong approach. Asking them to accept the fact that ANY single vendor solution is bound to fail - is the right approach IMHO.
