Data Sharing Summit #2 - May 15th

So we did a two-day techy Data Sharing Workshop a couple of weeks ago and now we’re planning on doing a larger, more marketing and all inclusive Data Sharing Summit on May 15th.

The event will be held ‘down the valley’ at the Computer History Museum - in Mountain View, CA, U.S.A.

This should be a fun event - and progress is actually being made every step of the way.  We had Microsoft, Nokia, ooTao, Google, SixApart, Yahoo, Plaxo, the BBC, Digg, dabble, Vidoop and lots of small companies all interacting anf solving real-world issues at the workshop.

My bet is that all those players and more will be at the Summit.

We also had a great session on DataPortability.  And BTW these workshops and Summits are open - so no one is being excluded.

So come one - come all - and lets air the issues and keep this train moving forward.  Here’s the reg page.

My favorite part of the workshop was that I got to yell at Chris Saad.  But all in jest - of course.

BTW efforts are now on the way to have one of these in Europe.  Please contact us if you are interested in helping male that a reality.   And something like this should happen in Asia and India - as well.
