Hey Brooke - the way you’re supposed to market social networks is to talk about what users are doing with them

Brooke Hammerling who reps Ning should get a clue and get the attention OFF of Ning’s absurd valuation and onto what people are doing WITH Ning.  Overvaluing your company is not a good thing.

Bragging about not making a profit is not a good thing.

Talking about what people are doing WITH their social networks is a good thing.

Talking about the inevitable nuclear winter just makes Marc sound like some rich guy who’s battening down the hatches, getting ready to horde food, stock up on water and solar cells and resigned to his fate of paying $5 a gallon for gas.

Lots of normal people out there get plenty of benefit from using Ning - THAT’s what you need to be hustling Brooke - not how important and rich Marc is.
