Oy! Passover falls on the day after Shabbat, so we got special rules….
I’m not sure if you’re one of those Jews who pays attention to all the rules ( I certainly am not, am eldest son does) but I went to go find out when Passover (Pesach) was this year and got bombarded with all sorts of special exceptions:
I’ll spare you the details - here’s a quick excerpt:
Both Shabbat meals should be completely Kosher for Passover with the exception of two ounces of challah per person per meal. (It is forbidden to eat matzah on the day before Passover.)
Oy!
Or you could just say “fuck it” - and go with what you want. I’m not gonna eat no challah on Passover - that’s for sure. I wait all year for Matzah.
