I think it's fair to say that DataPortability is just hype, and everyone knows it. There's no real work done there.

FooCamp is different. I know people going, and it's fair to say that they are pretty skeptical about the dataportability project.

By the way Marc - my response to the question on RWW was not pointing to the timeline - I actually said "There's tonnes of beef - all the [contributing] standards groups have done excellent work already. We're just helping the mainstream catch up."

The timeline was just another way of tracking activity in the group - and it does not just mention press, it also mentions milestones for the group and the standards communities.

You're wish is my command Marc
http://chrissaad.wordpress.com/2008/01/23/microsoft-to-join-dataportability-wheres-the-beef/

If you feel some beef is missing from DataPortability - then I encourage you to join the Action Groups and start carving. Otherwise I think you are already doing a great job and all we have to do is spotlight your work and the work of others.

Cheers
