CES ‘08 images
This is called Iced Tea. In Europe they are not aware of the bottomless Ice Tea we have here in the States. It’s just water and tea. Once you’ve paid for the first one, it’endless refills - which I take advantage of. This has weened me off of Coca Cola.
But in Europe - they look at you very strangely when you ask for Ice Tea. So then I tell them - “bring me hot tea, lots of ice and several cooling chambers.” The picture below is what happens when you order Ice Tea from room service. Only in America.

The only half way interesting thing I could find at CES were the GIANT - and I mean enormous - flat screen display screens.

At the Venetian Hotel - they have a miniature Piazza San Marcos - complete with singers, jugglers, etc. The cafes are wonderful, food great and the faux canal (complete with Gondoliers) hilareous. One thing they can’t recreate - the pigeons. My girls loved to feed the birds all summer.

Finally - this was Bill Gates last CES keybote and here’s Bill playing Guitar Hero - with Jeff Sanquist - one of my ‘inside guys’ at Microsoft - at the Bloghaus.
