Blogging from Osaka

Congrats to the Scobles.  Nuf said.

Coolio LeWeb3 badges - meet you at the Buddha Bar.

FWIW I bet Valleywag is right and that Adam Bosworth is going to Facebook.

I bet I was the FIRST to reply to Russ’s plea.  It popped up on my reader and I immediately emailed him. If we don’t hire him - somebody BETTER!  Quality people like Russ are hard to find. Maybe he can move back to Spain and…….still work on Mowser.

I wonder if Flux is MTV’s fourth attenmpt at social networking if they (MTV) plan on doing yet ANOTHER social network and Flux is just white labeled TagWorld?  Hmmmmmm   So many SNS - so little time.  John Battelle has SNFArrington calls Flux a network of networks. I wonder who came up with that idea?  And what will become of Y!360?

Meanwhile Yahoo has YASNS. Oh thank goodness.  I’m sure it’ll be as popular as Facebook.  NOT

I’ll be at ‘the Business of Media’ - conference - Oct. 30th - we’re partners with Rafat and Staci on a private SNS - that only conference attendees are invited into.   And we’ve worked on TWO  business media plays recently - so we have something to offer to folks in this realm - if anybody wants a business media play.

Bottom fishing ain’t such a bad idea - if you build something cool and fund it right and create a great team of people to do it.  And support them - right.  So the folks who bought Odeo - just bought Fireant.   So they have audio, now video - what’s next - text?

Yes- thank you Laurie Rae for helping out at the DataSharingSummit.  Without you = we might have gone hungry!  And not been able to afford it.

I usually don’t report on something like changes at Salon - but this is a time stamp to myself about - well - I know what - and you don’t - but it’s a time stamp none the less.  In my blog.

MySpace finally admits their UI sucks.  Does that means they’ve grown up or is it more Facebook envy?  Either way - Facebook is definitely keeping them honest

Force.com seems like a really smart thing to do - especially FaceForceCharlene Li groks it - for sure.  Marc my words - “bring social to software” is gonna be HUGE!

Congrats to Chris Alden on being named CEO and Chairman of SixApart.  Does that mean that Ben and Mena are Republicans now?  Cause Aaron Emigh use to work for the pssss!!!ssssstXXXX]–49u0329rdjq this text[[[Ih8*^gu]]] has been taken over by the 3[]wefj23rewgfrewfkd
