New Company site and some announcements
This recent faux paix at TechCrunch has forced our hands and caused us to finally open up our new company site.
We were waiting for a couple of our large clients to lift embargo and sign paperwork - but its more important to get the basic news out now and load up the big guns for later announcements.
For now - we’re announcing:
- Doug Thompson is our president, Angel investor and board member
- We’ve taken $500k in Angel investment
- We’ve got a new version of our product PeopleAggregator v 1.2 - live to play with and also available in source code form.
The new site explains what DLAs are, how they fit into our strategy, what our products and services are and in general finaly answers a lot of questions folks have.
So now all I have to say is “go to the web site“.
Take a look. Please.
This and our efforts at creating a DataSharingSummit - surmount to what we call marketing at Broadband Mechanics.
GT Channel (a car enthusiast’s network) and a private network for Rafat Ali’s ‘ContentNext‘ networking evens - are the first public sites. Lots more live networks in the pipeline, big announcements and even press releases - to follow.
Special thanks go out to Paolo Valdemarin and his team at eVectors. They’ve created the site using their Userland Frontier based tool - IDEATools - which was created years ago when I was working here with Paolo.
You might know Paolo.
He’s the #1 Paolo in Google.
Everybody knows Paolo. He’s our guy here in Italy and Europe. If I can’t be somewhere - Paolo fills in. And when it comes to some of these big gigs we’re about to announce which originate here - it’s all because of Paolo.

The new design looks great, and it’s very clear exactly what the features are. I’ve seen all the other players websites in the space, and yours is very succinct. Great job.
