Its nice to see that someone at EMI is doing deals.  I worked with them for one year and nada.  Niente.  Frighhtened deer in headlights.  So it’s great to see them doing SOMETHING!

Loomia vs Aggregate Knowledge Smackdown - I disagree with Kevin. Software is about people and Paul and Chris rock.  I don’t know the Loomia people - but I trust Paul and Chris.

I met Ken Rutkowski again - after many years - in Cannes at Milia.  He’s heavily into podcasting, sending out daily newsletters and schmoozing every Saturday at his crib down in Lala.  What a maniac.

Paolo went to Berlin (courtesy of Yahoo) to hear about the new Flickr.  He met Brad Horowitz there. Hey Brad!

I missed Dave Winer in Italy - but I hear he had a great time.  Meanwhile I disagree with Dave about the Sopranos finale.  I was blown away by the Godfather homages.  Just like it should have been.  Cutting edge, Take risks.  Don’t play up to the crowd, go your own way.  My kind of show.  And it leaves it open for a movie - a series of movies!  Med becomes a mafia prosecutor, AJ starts the hottest club in Tribeca - but gets taken over by little Carmine.   Tony comes to the rescue.

Its great to see Nick Denton fire himself, and Om Mailk playing insider games - still - while I’ve been away.

Great to see Michael Rpbertson’s Linspire moving forward - even if it’s with Microsoft.

Yes - I believe Flock is fucked.  But it also has a lot to do with who their CEO is.

This sounds hot - iTunes integrated with Bebo.  Maybe they ARE grokking the DLA attitude afterall?  Integration, Aggregation and Customization - just Tatoo it on your forehead.
