Had a great time yesterday playing Court Jestor

… with Jeff Clavier. We sat in a box and commented on each showcase presentation.

The hi-tech conference is coming down to an art of science. The speed pitches, the hallway kiosks/demos, sponsor driven, feedback energy, “let me picth you my idea” action, bubble generating, hype ridden - but it’s all good - kind of approach.

Boris, Patrick and Arjen pulled off ‘the Next Web’ with style and grace - all the while wearing white suits and sneakers - also sponsor driven. I’d really like to come back next year and present my own ideas and products.

Now I get to introduce Dick Hardt and Deb Schulz to Amsterdam.

Starting with boat rides on the canals, coolio birthday party (with free drinks and embedded propaganda demos) and culminating with nothing less than what the tourists view every night walking the Red Light district - today should be fun.

The Dampring is a shadow of itself, since they’ve banned alcohol from Coffee Shops - but they’re riding the Ocean’s 12 coattails as much as they can. I noticed that the George Clooney buddlelicious is off the menu - BTW.
