GT Channel

We’re proud to announce the launch of a new client’s network - called GT Channel.

Its a network of car nerds who are heavily into the modern day muscle cars coming out of Japan, Germany and Detroit. These cars are used for traditional racing and also ‘drifting’ - which was popularized in 3 films called ‘Fast and Furious‘.

The network utilizes Revver for storing and playing back video, and cleanly interfaces into GT Channel’s existing web site creating a seamless experience. This is an example of what I call ‘bringing social to software’ - as GT Channel was a traditional ‘on-line magazine’ displaying car videos before we met them.

Now they’re a community of car nuts - who all share the same interests and desires.  By engaging their customers and letting them participate in the content, GT Channel is embracing and defining the future of media and publishing.

So upload your muscle car videos, and earn money via Revver.  Comment on or blog about the latest cars. Check out the exclusive footage and celebrity racer blogs. This is a classic, niche, vertical, target audience - where this is all heading - network.

Thanks to Taro Koki for making this all possible. Good luck to you and break open a cask of Sake for me!

And congrats to Gurpreet and his team at Tekriti for another job well done! And congrats to Gaurav for keeping it all together. I’ll see you soon at your wedding!

Phil also has done an amazing job at setting up a 99.9% system. Redundant backups, hot swap system in place, 24/7 response team in place, pagers charged, bandwidth flowing, servers pinging and ponging.

And Asi Behar and the folks at Revver have been great.

And most of all - thanks to Maura Sparks - who is our cornerstone, our ultimate Mom and keeps it all real.
