They just mentioned your name here at EconSM, and I was expecting a loud "Yo!" from the audience -- and then they said you weren't able to attend EconSM and that you were in a hospital in London.... so I jumped over to your site and saw the news.

Sorry you weren't able to make EconSM... hope you have a fast recovery!

PS: The kidney stones are bad, sure, but the torture of THE STENT should've been outlawed by the Geneva Convention or something... Definitely feel your pain, man. All the best...

Marc! That SUCKS!! I haven't replied to your GPL license post a while back because I've been pretty out of it lately dealing with kidney stones myself... two surgeries in the past two weeks, still feeling horrible... hoping there's an end in sight... and very much hoping that you're having an easier time with it. Oddly enough, I started feeling the kidney stones in early January when I was in London, but it didn't get bad/incapacitating until a month after I got back to LA. Some odd synchronicity in there somewhere. :)

Feel better soon,

Wow! I had a CT Scan and blood test (family history of heart problems) a couple of weeks ago and spent an hour yesterday reviewing the tests with the doc. Three big red flags...get straight on meds he says. I send the report to my eagle-eyed mum and she noticed the name on the report was not mine!! Whoa! Lesson here is don't take everything at face value. Check and doublecheck.
Good luck and wishing you a speedy recovery.
