Big Shout Out to Liz Gannes. I didn’t want to hurt her feelings. She’s a killer, smart cookie, incredible asset that I’m afraid Om will have to give a raise to - or else she’ gonna get stolen.

David Gratton is challenging my hyperbole and dogma. He’s right - I do tend to be all or nothing. Obviously life is about the grey areas - and GPL sure as hell defines a grey area - if you ask me - or any lawyer. I couldn’t get the same straight answer out of 5 lawyers on GPL - so to me - that spelled trouble. Right here in Emerald City. And that’s a capital T which ryhmes with me.

And then there’s Ben Werdmuller who responded to my post which is a post which got allot of comments - so I feel compelled to keep this meme going.

- Ben confirms that Elgg does do FOAF - but nobody uses it (which is the exact feedback we got when we included it in Tribe. Now we’ll see if XFN gets more usage)

- That he feels compelled to include a photo of me - as I included one of him

- That Elgg has a dashboard and Widgets - coming. Well I should certainly HOPE SO!

- That Elgg has Groups - they’re called Communities (but they still lack a number of key features.)

- That Elgg will have full media galleries - soon.

- All in all I’d say Elgg rocks. Great minds think alike.
