So you know why I hate Flash so much?  You can’t right click and copy it.  I’m sure Macromedia thinks this is a good thing - but they’re wrong.

Anyway - congrats to everyone for becoming this Year’s Person of the Year.  What does that say for the cult of Personality?  For Identity Rights?  For all those famous people passed over this year - for us!

Poor Chad, Steve and Jawed.  We took their cover.  Or does that mean that Crowd Sourcing becomes the next big buzzword du jour?

Now what happens when the inevitable migration happens OFF of YouTube and MySpace?  What happens when they realize that the cats can’t be herded so easily?  When those dam humans start zagging while others are investing in monetizing their zig?

I find it humorous that as we try to get AWAY from these old school notions of fame and stardom - that they turn it around and make it a Person of the Year.

HELLO!  Mr. Time!   Remember what Bob Dylan said “the times they are a changin”.  Call it Long Tail or what have you - fame and maganize covers are not what YouTube is about.  And when they destroy YouTube (which they will) what’s next?
