Just saw ‘theX-Mas Carol’, got the girls to sleep, had our Chinese Food….

X-Mas day is the day for Jews to eat Chinese Food and go to the Movies.  We did our part this evening, after spending all day in our pajamas opening up presents and making little girls very happy.  You see - my wife is a Schiksa - so my daughters get the best of both worlds.

I got to watch football today and even just do nothing.  What a treat.  After putting Mimi’s drum set together.

So now its time to blog.

Michael Arrington discovers ‘In Search of the Valley’.  This is the movie I was in.

To Loic - “The food was superb, its very hard to feed 1,000 in an hour, and I have just one request - more tables and chairs.”  And if you’re gonna bump people - tell them ahead of time - so they don’t have to come.  The Startup thingie was great, now we just need to improve these dam panels.  I think Tariq and I and someone representing Vox should have spoken on DLAs (digital lifestyle aggregators.)  Maybe next year.  And teh name of the product is - PeopleAggregator - a MySpace-in-a-Box.

Be careful world - Imran Ali is now free.  Carbon Imagineering is now born. I wonder if they’re paying any royalties to Disney?

TrustFuse is coming.

Eric Rice asks why - and all I can say that in 2007 we’ll have the product to solve this problem.  I promise.

theHill88 fans are forming.

John Furrier’s ‘micro-communities’ confirm that all monetization will happen through smaller, in context networks.  So the goal is to keep your initial investment and costs DOWN - so you can reap better ROI - faster.  So DON’T go building your own dam, re-invent the wheel social network.  License one from us.  :-)

As Arrington says, microformats bring promise - but we’re a long way from any benefits.  And reputation still needs work.  But in general - las year we moved the needle forward.

The Year of the Widget - coolio.  We have a killer Widget editor coming in PeopleAggregator 1.2,  In fact some people have told us it should be a separate product.  And if we’re gonna have more WidgetsLive - I just hope the hosts don’t mumble as much.  Love yah anyway - dudes.

4 More Hottie Female Bloggers - actually Vloggers.

Ted Leonsis has an AIMpage

The battle of the Ad Centers is starting.  I’m perplexed what the hell happened to the keyword targeted ads?  Isn’t that what we’re supposed to be doing now?

You mean Feedburner isn’t a reputable outfit?  Oh my Gosh. News at 11.

Fred Wilson’s idea of a good time for his family is to sit on the hotel bed and watch a movie on a 15″ screen.  I couldn’t do that.

Even though people don’t seem to understand Steve Gillmor’s subtle innuendos, they still listen to him and seem to like him.  :-)  Me - I like to translate.

Violet Blue now advertising for Google.

Suggestions to Om Malik (since he asked):  I like the new layout and byline images.  I also like the cross-referencing between blogs.  You don’t need to add logos like TechCrunch, but more visuals sure would help.  What I’d really like are more insider tips, why these BroadBandits act like they do, who’s getting manipulated by who, why certain deals happen, who’s grabbing the cash, and who out there (if they actually exist) is in it for the altruistic, improve the world issues, besides fattening up their own bank account.   In other words - expose the culture of success through failureThe cult of the CEO.  This stuff is all important andf it amazes me how greed and stupidity rule the roost.  We need more exposure to these realities.  Perhaps an update on the Bandits - “where they are now” (read: jail or the boardroom)
