building the open web one bit at a time

Yo Shawn and Joi! STOP THE MADNESS!

Everytime I hear about another social network being created - I cringe.

Yet another $500k wasted and money poured down the drain.  Not because the network is a bad idea, but becauase all this money is being wasted creating a network from scratch, when a perfectly good solution would be to use our PeopleAggregator platform to build on top of.

For a ‘lot less money’ anyone can go and build their OWN social network - and get everything you’d want.

So maybe I gotta go call Joi and let him know what’s up.  And Shawn too.

This has tremendous effect on one’s ROI as well.  If you spend less money on the code, then you need to make less money to reach profitability.  That should at least appeal to Ron Conway.  Maybe I should call him - too.

All these social network you hear getting announced every day - will never reach profitability if they have to recoup the $500k they’ve invested in teh code.

Again - USE PEOPLEAGGREGATOR and save money!

  4. I appreciate People Aggregator concep, but the user experience is orrible. The interface is so complicated and in some cases, very web 0.1: it does not make a lot of sens to me to ask people to post by medium type… a story is a story, whatever you need to tell it.
