What to do about SXSW?
I’ve had a few people (mainly Irish) suggest that we do our own plenary session at SXSW.
Perhaps we’ll call it “old timers speak out” or “Ageism in the era of snotty nosed Web 2.0 entreprenuers”.
Well I love SXSW so much that I almost don’t mind not speaking there. Gives me more time to schmooze, show Mimi what SWAG means and attend allot of parties paid for by VCs.
The while thing is really a shame cause I’ve seen some really BAD panels at SXSW and (if I say so myself) - I haven’t done a BAD panel - well, not ever - really. Ask anyone who has attended panels where I speak.
Maybe one day - I can be as cool as Jason Kotke and give a keynote. Even if I didn’t meet my wife at SXSW.
