Tons of links - Sunday night
OK OK - I’m over my bored phase. Now I’m just anxious to get these links off my back - so I can move into the next 5,000 posts to read. Oh goodey.
Facebook opened up. Facebox - takes advantage of spelling.
Dare is hoping for a WidgetCon - me too. In fact I’m gonna do something about making sure it’ll happen.
Lots and lots of news about SNS: Uspot, Unilife, Zebo, Tribe reboots, Orkut in India, video is everywhere and ‘Social Networking for All’.  (NOTE: Pete Cashmore is now my favorite source for all this…..) And as Fred Wilson says ‘MySpace is the AOL of Web 2.0′
Speaking of video being everywhere - I hope you all have been building up your dabble links. I have.
Microsoft ‘promises not to asset’ with ‘35 web services standards’  Its called ‘Open Specification Promise’. Bill Gates is rolling over in his grave. Lots of people have lots to say about this. I myself have been waiting 2.5 years for Kim Cameron to do what he promised. And he did it! Congrats to Kim and company!
Coolio news from:Â Dave.tv,
iWoman (Kaliya Hamlin) is the Digital Identity Award of the year. And a human being - as well.
I assume you all know that Xanga got spanked.
My friend Ariel McNichol’s MeGos is open for registration.
At least somebody is thinking about RSS beyond just blogging.
Christopher has this good harang on ‘Being an Angel Investor’. And Stewart Butterfield wants to keep innovating. And Chris Messina is wondering about the future of ‘white boys clubs’.
Opinity is adopting Infocard. So are we. Opinity also has hooked up with Rapleaf - which is getting traction elssewhere - as well.
We did a V 1.1 of PeopleAggrregator and we’re waiting for our first slew of customers to sign the paperwork - so we can properly announce of Facebook and Flickr Import and our new UI. But before we know it - our V 1.2 will be ready, so………………. check it out - its new and improved and its gonna keep getting improved.
Applications for eTech ‘07 are due tomorrow. Just make sure to be part of Rael and Cory’s clique or you don’t have a chance in hell of getting in.Â
Oh yah - PC Forum is no more. That’s where I learned how to wear Hawaiin shirts like Mitch Kapor and stay in the hallway. Nobody goes into the panels at PC Forum. Or did - I should say.
