Water on airplane flights
I bring a jug of water with me on every flight I take, as they never serve enough water, water is essential to be hydrated and healthy and you dry out when aloft.
So this latest ’situation’ has heavy consequences on me.
What I suggest is that every air carrier put a plastic bottle on every seat when folks get on board. Though one bottle wouldn’t be enough it would be something.

I agree. Maybe using specially marked bottles or something?
I think, unfortunately, economy class flyers might not get this *luxury*.

I believe you can still buy water after you’ve passed security, in the duty free area, and take it on board with you.

Just worked out that the no liquid ban is absolute between the UK and the US (both ways), including duty free water. A bit less stringent flying to other places. Not good. I’m in the US now, and need to get back to the UK at the start of Oct.

I’m on a UK - US round trip at the end of september, so absolutley zero carry on ()looks like I’d be safe buying a laptop in teh states than trust the cargo hold). The ban of course is on liquids, and dont di-hydro monoxide, so I wonder if we can get away with a plastic tupperware box of ice?

The whole water ban is stupid. They just acting like a bunch of paranoid freaks.
People need water to survive.
If a person has just water and no other means to make a bomb…all those taken away…how can he or she possibly make one?
bunch of paranoid chickens.
Hopefully they will stop being so afraid and scaredy cat paradoid poopheads.
Typical of our extremely stupid government.

Man…but wait….SPIT is a liquid!
So is BLOOD!
and..
URINE!
And they all come from our bodies!
GASP!
I guess soon we will have to have all our blood tested and our urine sucked out of us and our saliva tested…
They are all liquids after all.
They might make a BOMB!
OH NO!
OH THE HORROR!

If I am right, they will allow matches on a plane but not bottled water?
Hmm and someone couldnt light a match and….BOOM?
Does anyone in our government use their BRAINS?
