Monday happenings
AOL needs to do more than just fire their CTO. Now that John McKinley has his old job back, big changes are afoot. In fact one could say that big changes are an arm and leg - too. Perhaps an entire body of changes is needed. But for some reason - I still really like them.
Meanwhile - your Yahoo! is showing.
I’ll be speaking at Picnic ‘06 in Amsterdam at the end of September - right after my German visit.
Robert liked my remix. Good! Cause it was dedicated to him - and his new show - the Robert Scoble show.
Now that all the teens diss it - I guess Friendster had no choice but to focus on older folks. And that $10M they just took was for only ONE thing - to pay lawyers to sue us all.
The battle over social networks and mobile - continues.
Bye bye PubSub - I still think their technology is better than - well you know - that OTHER company.
Just what you always wanted - Marc Canter ice cream
Gaurav reminds us - don’t forget to smell the roses. That was my theme of the 90’s. I got off the daily grind, startup hell known as the software biz. But now I’m back. Dam the roses! As long as Mimi and Lucy give me any freetime.
Yahoo photos - the beast of all the beasts. BTW did you know that Yahoo Video leads over YouTube?
Great to read that my wife is alive and well in cottage land. They come home tomorrow.
