…. on our way down to Lala - for a couple of clients and some Disneyland time.
So Cardspace it is - Infocards has been renamed.
Web 2.0 lives in Cork. Right on - I’ll be there in November.
Tara is starting to talk about a Citizen Agency. They need a logo.
Its great to see Ted Leonsis pitching the NEW AOL. The company needs that sort of leadership.
I’ve been trying to get into 30Boxes’ desktop - but can’t get it to work. Scaling issues? Slashdot/Digg/TechCrunch effect?
MySpace goes channely. Hmm - I will have to ponder this and write something on it later. Notice that these channels are not stand alone networks - but controlled ‘hubs’. Hmmmm.
More context for social networks. This time - its cars. “See Jeanette - I told you so!”
Man - do I have some topics for the Identity Mashup - but I’ll wait til after our launch - and get onto the ID scene in Vancouver. I don’t wanna say nuttin, til we can put up.
Etsy seems coolio. They should useBrightcove’s technique and get it out to the edge. It’s all about javascript blog objects - baby!
The basic question comes up: “does Bill Gates grok this stuff or not?” I say he does - but he doens’t want to admit how far behind Microsoft is. It would send the stock plummeting.
Arnaud points out that microformats are not microcontent. I think Tantek would say that the URL of the page - is the URI. Hee hee - this is obviously not the case.
Can’t wait to see Ashish and Gaurav and Phil and Paolo. Too bad Martin couldn’t make it. Next time - meine freund!
I’m sorry I missed Lucas Gonze at Vloggercon - but apprently he wasn’t there anyway. Well sometime soon - maybe this week in LaLa?
Oh well - I was pitching this feature to clients 9 months ago - and it looks like somebody did it. Upload once - they take care of loading into all these different video storage places. See Karsten - I hate to say I told yah so, but……
We’re using Basecamp’s APIs in our first PeopleAgrgegator demo.
More cool tools for AOL’s upcoming AIMpages.
Phil gives some good advise on javascript ‘badges’ (I call them blog objects.)
Congrats to Charlie Warner and team on their launch - I just hope I don’t have to ’say I told them so….’

Hi Marc. Note that we will continue to refer to “cards” and “information cards” and the like, as things that are used by the whole industry and can (hopefully) be employed from any platform. CardSpace is just the name of the specific feature that will be shipped on Vista and that will be available for XP.
