Tucows QOS and Feedcache
Ross Rader announced a new service called Feedcache.
It does exactly what it’s title says and has APIs for you to access a treasure trove of feeds being cached by Tucows “in the sky”.
This service set my mind on fire so I have proposed to Ross a similar service for each and everyone’s personal web services. Its something each and every portal, dashboard and DLA vendor will have to do - anyway. So if Tucows could develop this service - lots of us small guys would use it.
Clearly AOL, Microsoft, Google and Yahoo will have to build their own - but Tucows could provide the service “to the rest of us”. Just athought on thsi fine Monday morning.
NOTE: The only reason I incuded Tucows QOS logo in this post - is that I like the logo allot. Who created it for you - Joey?

Its not our logo at all - just some spice for the post on my weblog. It is a pretty decent visual descriptor of what we’re up to though
as far as your Monday morning thoughts go - these sound like a great way to take the service going forward. We’d love to turn this into a community led initiative that solves some of the real problems that lie ahead. We’re happy to take anyone that wants to jump in and lend a hand - ideas, code, schemas, kind words - whatever, just bring it!
