Ode to a Fool’s day

Well I’m no fool,
as we’re all in school
’bout a funky punky drama - thats unfolding like a spool.

So it’s fool’s day again,
and I’m about to put to pen,
’bout my recent allegations and some uninspired Gen,,,

‘erosity I say,
and its had its own fun day,
but the attention that it gives us we’ll all make some rum and hay.

By throwing down our goals,
while climbin ten foot poles
No it ain’t ’bout making money,
or filling mouthes with empty souls.

So before I steal more ripe lyrics,
you’d better check your spirit
and see if she’s ready for this poem that beseeches that you to hear it.

So open standards are the game,
and its not funny or even lame
that we all embrace this subject and line up all the same.

And we’ll connect our islands ‘gether,
with a spiratual-like tether
and build this archipelago that tells the GYMAA like beheamouths - WHETHER

To funk like Mona Lisa
or start leaning like a Pisa
I know my ryhming ain’t quite jibe
but I’ll live to tell the scribe

…of the day when fools start cumming
and the islands start a running,
to their nearest user’s desktop
with a dashboard, feed or fess up

and infuse their aggregators
with a pound of lime-like fate - her
hopes and dreams and visions
are enough to keep us near time

Of a Doc and Dave-ah Winer
Or a Scoble - thats a fine - ah
That I dedicate this poem-ah
To a Tony Pierce aroma

So as the Gillmors do their thing,
and Cory, Rael and Tim
I sure hope that Chris Pirillo
puts my name under his sweat pillow

And blesses me with a fine slot - sir
No not like that, but this - allot sir
As we enter this fine quarter
with a beer in tow and Gnomes sir

What the hell are you bespeaking?
Marc have you gone mad - or worse - took VC pursestrings?
I say “don’t worry my fine fellows”
There ain’t no way in hell I’m gonna take VC - but

….. we will ship a product - completely bootstrapped that will rock the house and show that great products don’t need VC money……

…….and it would sure as hell would be nice to have Chriss Pirillo let me shows it off and talk about inter-connecting social networks together at Gnomedex.
