I just got off IM with one of my favorite people in the whole world - Judith Meskill.  She’s now the COO of WeblogsInc. - the company that Jason Calacanis sold to AOL.

Probably since Jason has ‘ambitions’ within the company and has just taken over Netscape, he’s handed the keys to the kingdom to Judith.

Judith was one of our first bloggers, was our first editorial director, and helped us grow from 40 to more than 160 bloggers in just over one year. She also managed our side of the integration of Weblogs, Inc. and AOL.com. Judith is wildly effective, keeps everyone focused on the goal, and has the dubious distinction of being the only member of the management team who has not taken a vacation since our acquisition by AOL six months ago! (We’re forcing her to take one next month!)
