Coolio - a BarCamp, Supernova and Unconference - all at the same time!
Just got word that the nerds are coming out in full force during Supernova as well. There’s a BarCamp planned for June 20. These folks aren’t the ones to be paying nobody nothing for a fancy conference, so they’re all just gonna go huddle in a corner and write some code.
Meanwhile Dave Winer and I are hard at work finding space for a ‘unconference’ - BloggerCon IV - which will focus on open discussions run by Discussion Leaders (DLs.) We plan on finding empty office space or pile into some local school - in the downtown/SOMA area. Raines Cohen created an Upcoming event for it. Raines and I go back - let’s see 22 years now.
All this combined with Kevin Werbach’s Supernova makes for a fun and compelling end of June - in San Francisco. Hmmmm - right before we launch the PeopleAggregator. Hmmmm - maybe I’ll bring the whole crew in and do an International offsite at the same time - as well.
Might as well - everybody who is anybody will be doing something during this time period. I say we take over Market street and just party - together.

Just and FYI, we’ve switched the date of Barcamp to the weekend, June 24, and will be having a Mash Pit June 20.
And um, PeopleAggregator? Powered by Soylent Green?
