Wassup in the blogosphere
Niall Kennedy joins Microsoft.
The MySpace economy - I love all teh little utils and tools tat rise up around big systems.
Combining OPML and RSS to create an export format for a blog - from Matt Mower (notice that Matt still uses Radio Userland)
Generation Fox is born. I just wanna know what they say to decent, Amercian advertisers when they see the porno site - otherwise known as MySpace. Monetizing MySpace is harder than it looks.
Social Networking in Windows Live Messenger - seems that Microsoft is copying from our friends at AOL. NOW lkets see what happens when I approach them about facilitating the movement of profile and social network data between these two systems. This is getting fun.
Thanks for the coverage on the StructuredBlogging.org web site update from Renee Blodgett and Susan Mernit. Susan also comments on Bob Wyman’s vision of a new sage of blogging.
Bill Seitz wonders if Google will start scraping public MicroContent (e.g. TypePad’s FOAF network, RSS Aggregators’ public subscription lists, etc.) before or after providing an API?
And entire eStore in one page - with Ajax. Hmmm - that can be done easily with Laszlo. What’s the big deal?

It might look like it, but I actually haven’t used Radio Userland to publish Curiouser and Curiouser since about October of last year. C&C is published using Squib but one of my goals in designing it was to reproduce much of what I thought was valuable about the Radio Userland experience (and to fix a great raft of stuff that I thought wasn’t valuable too!)

AOL has social networking integrated into their IM client? I didn’t know that. I’d try it out but I don’t have any buddies on their network.
