In case you’re wondering why Russell is so gung-ho on Yahoo - here’s something from their research department:
It connect community folks who go onto their cell phones and report back - via the cell tower - where they are - to a database of locations. Pretty coolio.

I’m running it in Ireland and the UK so it works on S60 phones without the network having to provide accurate geospatial info. The Zonetag system appears to inherit intelligence about the various cell phone towers on the heels of others educating the tags it offers on images it handles.
