		<description>We'd been talking unconferences lately. Meanwhile, SXSW and eTech are conferences rather than unconferences. So I called then non-unconferences.

But I'm not going there to kiss anybody's ring. I'm going there because I enjoy it. i also happen to think that, as conferences go (and respecting the problems we have with them), O'Reilly does a pretty good job. I don't hit all their shows, but I usually hit eTech and OSCon, and dig them both.

And yes, I wish I could take the kid to these shows. Unfortunately, school's still in session.</description>
