FamilyRoutes

Brand new social network coming - called Family Routes.

It looks coolio - one of my favorite subjects to speculate on.  The traditional notion is that family heads are too busy to worry about social networking.

  1. Thanks Marc. We’re head-down now, in that oh-my-god-we’re-launching-in-single-digit phase. Looking forward to rolling out fun features and tools as the site builds and families tell us what they need. Since 71% of moms have a kid on their lap while online, we figured we’d better do something about helping them out.

    Thanks for the nod.

OurStory.com has a similar service, which allows you to share timelines of personal and family history. There is also a photo feature, as well as the ability to print a nicely bound book which you can give as a keepsake. It’s a pretty cool site!
