Things to remind myself to do
1. Read Stowe Boyd’s new blog. Decide if I’ll subscribe to it - or not.
2. Fill out an application for the Prixs Ars Electrinica competition for digital communities. Can’t decide if I should enter ourmedia.org or structuredblogging.org or both. With Joi and danah on the jury - we’re sure to get ignored either way.
3. Remind myself to NOT buy anything Apple. Despite recent gloating, their time will come again. It has to. They’re Apple. Others think so - as well.
4. Get some Nokia guy or gal to give me a N90.
5. Write a long post on desktop servers and where’s the data. We’ve been working on some virtual caching stuff for our new tool. Once you start relying upon data - elsewhere - you sure as hell don’t wanna be waiting for it. Desktop servers give you the ability to cache anything, while still leaving the data - where it is. Huge issue.
6. Let Shelley know that I agree with her on her DRM issues. It’s possible to mix DRM and indepdendence.
7. Congradulate the open source Flash dudes and dudesses.
8. Plug mashup camp - again.
9. Great to see Jon Udell focused on microformats and structuredblogging.

Dude… what on earth are you talking about?
“7. Congradulate the open source Flash dudes and dudesses.”
There isn’t even a mention of Flash on that page (or in the comments) - it’s about DRM, which isn’t really on the radar for Flash (so far). Perhaps you meant to link to http://osflash.org/ ?

You may want to check out the ‘original’ Mashup gathering going on today in SF organized by the BarCamp folks: http://upcoming.org/event/47957/ - very interesting stuff. I look forward to seeing what comes out of both.

Phishing for Nokia N90

What’s your problem with apple?
And what’s your (really good) alternative?
