Attaching meta-data or not

Dave Winer points out in some comments here that what we was really trying to say was:
You guys want users to enter metadata, I’m looking for ways to get around tha because I have found that people don’t even spell things right, much less label things.
He’s right- of course.

Summit for the Future

I’ll be speaking at a conference called “Summit for the Future” in Amsterdam - May 3-5 - for it looks like I’ll be there for the Queen’s birthday.
At least this won’t be one of those ‘tech’ conferences.

Keeping Niall happy

The only negative thinghappened at the StructuredBlogging.org announcement was when Niall Kennedy reported - from the back of the auditorium - that our feeds didn’ validate in the WC3 validator.
 My answer: “we’ll fix it.”
So we have.
Any other complaints?  We’re Wordpress 2.0 compliant, 1,000,000,000,000% microformats complaint and available for Moveable Type - too.

We’re cleaning up mistakes from 2005 and closing up on several projects that should have shipped already.
Gaurav muses on actually having to “roll up his sleeves”.
Gaurav has done more in three hours than M______ (name withheld to protect the guilty) did in three months.   Soon we’ll finally fbe able to show olks what we’ve been up to.
