7 x 7 = 49

It’s nice to think of the symmetry of 49 and my life.

That’s how old I’m gonna be - and if I think about dividing up my life into seven equal chunks - it comes out something like this:

1 - 7 = goo goo, gah gah, Civil Rights and Peace movements - I’m a Boy

7-14 = Hmmm, this manhood thing is pretty interesting - I’m a Baritone

14-21 = Hmmmm, maybe I do have a head on my shoulders - I’m on my own

21-28 = “It’s just as wrong to be an artist as a musician. Those are old fashioned terms, driven by old fashioned technology. Now we can paint with our violins, and make music with our paintbrushes” - I’m a futurist

28-35 = They call me MAC (Marc Aaron Canter) - BigMAC - the MacroMind - I’m an entreprenuer

35-42 = We called it ‘Creativity Tools’, they called it ‘Multimedia’. Meanwhile I’m onto the next big thing - I call it ‘Scalable Content’ - I’m a boutique R&D house

42-49 = All the factors have lined up, the people are in place, the inter-meshed distributed archipelago is forming - I’m a ‘digital lifestyle aggregator’

It’s been a great life so far. 2006 is gonna be a coolio year.
