I am also looking forward to next year

Richard MacManus is looking forward to seeing what Microsoft will do next year.

Me too.

These folks aren’t going to take Google lyigng down and they have the resources, power and might to counteract the new ‘Netscape’.

I myself am tantalized about:

- SSE
- what will make it into Vista 1.0
- what other open standards will Microsoft support - just to hurt Google

This is gonna be fun!

    Just wait until wider adoption of OpenSearch. Imagine a standard API for requesting data… then combine it with structured blogging, all kinds of data - today’s mashups will pale in comparison. I’m think there is a huge opportunity for this to start getting huge in 2006.
