We got conversation

I knew somebody had to pick up on that last post. And Chris Pirillo is the winner! I’m sure Stowe Boyd is close behind.

Yes - Chris you’re right. But my statement was: “I just wished Chris would take a risk - instead of just riding that gravy train.”

Gnomedex gives you the right to print money. Obviously you have to work your butt off to pull it off, but after 5 of them - you’ll have to admit that you’re getting pretty good at it. Now I KNOW you think you’re doing the best you can - but it’s MY job to keep pushing the envelope - to look out - forward and see what’s coming and to enlighten people to that future.

Doc and I sat down and pitched you what we pitched IDG. They didn’t have a clue what it was we were talking about - but clearly you and Ponzi do.

Yes - it takes infrastructure.
Yes - it takes investment.
Yes - it’s a risky idea.
Yes - it’ll redefine conferences.
Yes - it’s not gonna happen for a while.
Yes - I’m disappointed.

But I love you anyway.

See yah in Seattle. In June.
