OK - so let’s see how much blogging I can get done today - slicing through the vicodin haze. My face still looks like a chipmonk - but at least you’ll know where those missing walnuts are……
I’ve been waiting to jump in on the subject of “Where are all the British tech start-ups?” - started by Tom Coates and pointed to by Suw Charman.
I was on a panel with Suw (and DJ Spooky - and others) at ResFest and it was fun to do a bit of the ‘conference scene’ in the shadow of the London Eye.
So my contribution to this thread is “Visual Media” - based out of Wokingham, a suburb near Reading. They’ve got an incredible open source high-end graphic tool I’ve written about before.
They also have a Plug-In site for buying plugins - called Pluginz. So they’re making money and I’m helping them create a Macromedia killer.
