I've got a friend who's going to be *pissed*.

He pretty much had the exact same idea, right down to the drop-shipping of the flowers, chocolates, or whatever.  This was probably like a year or so ago.  The only thing that held him back was, well, not knowing how to code up a web app.  Bummer.

Course, personally, I'd rather just put yearly reminders in my cell phone's calendar (which it turns out I never really need anyhow), but to each his own.  That and actually, you know, having my priorities straight.  People are always more important than busywork.  There's no excuse for being too busy to care enough about someone to take the time to do it right.
