So how much will Technorati be sold for?

I bet $100M even. It’s such a round number.
I think it’s a good time to sell Technorati. Afterall the hype is high, they got Peter Hirshberg pimping for them and Dave Weinberger has STOPPED advertising for them - which means they’ve gotten past that initial “wow this is cool” period for tagging.
It’s incrtedibly hard being a high profile, high pressure kind of entreprenuer and the type of collecting, indexing and data mining that Technorati is offering is clearly a world class sort of effort - which requires world class money, effort and resources.
After the Live8 scene - Technorati went to a new level. Even as vicious rumors were spreading about their competition (which were totally untrue)Technorati was and is being bombarded by all sorts of shit - from all sides. Almost every day a new something happens.
So if Dave and them can make some money and get a big brother partner- god bless them - I just hope they’ll still support the notion of OpenTagging.
