Lots O Links while on vacation

So I’m in MIchigan for a family reunion and it’s time to play catch up on lots of interesting posts going on out there:

Arnaud Leene has a great checklist of things that are Web 2.0.

Thanks Barb to the pointer on some coolio SmartPhone software for me to use: Wikipedia search.

Mary Hodder better hurry up. There’s all sorts of video sharing tools out there now.

Om Malik is calling for solidarity and for folks to NOT go to Foo Camp.

Phil and Ashish made it back. We all worked our butts off during our worldside offsite.

Ashish also got a chance to present some Ajax modules and our Groups module - we did with Moshe Weitzman - at the Drupal mini-con in Portland.

Jeff Jarvis is apparently bring barraged with requests for people to help them market to the blogosphere. Jeff has some great advice to all:

My advice to companies trying to make money off the opinions of bloggers: Pay.

I love this ‘Judy’s Book’ promotion: free iShuffle is you bring in 10 people and write 50 Reviews. Pure, unadulturated marketing promo. Love it! We need more promos like this. Put $$$money$$$ into blogger’s pockets.

Steve Gillmor is brilliantly articulate on this piece on vacations.

Congrats to the folks at Metacritic.

I need to clue Tom Coates in about Visual Media - the creators of JahShaka and Pluginz.

We’re at another juncture in the XML vs rdf wars. Can Structured Blogging bridge the chasm?

Orb remote control of TiVO.

More publicity for Cyworld - our Korean client.
