Back from Vacation

Had a great time in Michigan, however I got a bitching cold.

My brother told me he found out that I was around, simply by reading my blog. He’s doing some work connecting legal review of documents to some new technology automation systems.

Sounds nerdy enough for Denise to care about.

Meanwhile we stopped off in Chi-town on the way back, got some Al’s Italian Beef and went to the Zoo. Lisa asked “where do we go to buy tickets?” and we all smiled “It’s a FREE ZOO!”

So I got two questions:

#1 - why have Italian Beef sandwiches NOT taken off outside of Chicago?

#2 - why are there not MORE free Zoos?

    For #1, I always wondered about that too since most of my friends who tried Italian beef while visiting Chicago loved it. (Al’s is great. Also try Buffalo Joe’s “cheesy beef”)

    Anyway, one group of people I know finally took up the challenge and opened up an Italian Beef place in LA. I believe it was last year, but I haven’t heard an update yet.
