Congrats on Atom 1.0. Sam Ruby has done a great job of herding the cats and acrtualy shipping the next step forward in blogging standards. Take this sceanrio: we’re in teh midst of freezing some media meta-data standards over on the mRSS list. But at the same time, we also wanna develop APIs for audio adn video - to complement the existing Flickr Photos APIs (which are also available in systems like Buzznet, etc.) So Atom could represent BOTH the APIs and schemas we need to provide a comprehensive media ’subscriptiona nd control system. So right on - for Atom.
